Title: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Year of release: 2010
Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, Magic(Alchemy actually), Shounen, Military
Summary: In this world there exist alchemists, people who study and perform the art of alchemical transmutation—to manipulate objects and transform one object into another. They are bounded by the basic law of alchemy: in order to gain something you have to sacrifice something of the same value. The main character is the famous alchemist Edward Elric—also known as the Fullmetal Alchemist—who almost lost his little brother, Alphonse, in an alchemical accident.
Plot: One word - amazing! The idea of this anime is very unique (well, it's taken from manga but you get my point). There is no other anime that would use alchemy this way and that would have military involved in it. I love how everything there can be scientifically explained and how everything nicely works together. FMA also has many, many plot twists, even after re watching it the second time, I still could not tell what is going to happen at some moments. Sometimes when everything seems to be clear to happen the way you think, things go the other way and I love when things happen like that. I also love how emotional it can sometimes get, I'm sure it could bring anyone to tears while watching some moments of this wonderful anime.
I think people would also find it amazing how great are two main characters Alphonse and Edward. Without a doubt anyone would come to like the midget alchemist just from watching his reactions to milk alone. And characters like Roy Mustang and Greed add some great spice into the anime, making it more and more interesting to watch.
Music: It's catchy, it suits the plot and it has nice rhythm. Since FMA is rather long (64 episodes) it has quite big soundtrack from different artist and I really like the songs. Lyrics match with the story as well. Ending 1 - Uso
Art:
As you see art is rather good and detailed, nothing to complain about. It has a unique style which makes it bit different from other anime, but it's nothing extra-ordinary. I still like how nice and simple it is and I love how they have made effects for alchemic reactions.
Overall Review: It has great plot, good music and art. Great advantage of this anime is that it won't get boring even if you're watching it for second time. It's funny, emotional thus making you want to watch more and more of it and regret that Fullmetal Alchemist had already come to its end.
Rating: 9 out of 10
